Soooo… Can all sessions be this dreamy, please? I’m in love with how these images turned out! As a Greensboro wedding photographer I have the privilege of being just a short drive from the mountains. The closest mountain to me is Pilot Mountain in all its glory and nostalgia! I love the wildflowers (weeds, to the pessimist), the rocky cliffs, and the winding, woodsy trails. I’m also glad to have actually seen more of the view this time, unlike my previous foggy session with Brittany and Andrew!
I arrived a bit early to scout out some locations to shoot. After finding the perfect spot, I enjoyed a good twenty minutes of prayer in solitude. The Lord’s artwork still leaves me breathless, and I hope it always does.
Bekah is another local photographer, and it was my pleasure to give her husband Domingo and her a second chance at their wedding photos! They had a large wedding four years ago that was simply lovely… yet not at all what they’d wanted. They’d been dreaming of a mountain elopement, but had been told they would regret it if they chose that course.
So they caved… and ended up regretted the big wedding.
This is the joy of being a photographer. Sometimes, photography is about capturing memories. Other times, it’s about creating them. Either way, I’m down to document it.
Bekah and Domingo, thanks for letting me photograph you on that beautiful Sunday night! You are both such sweet, easygoing people, and photographing y’all felt like hanging out with old friends. I appreciate your frankness, your willingness to try new things, your sneaky sarcasm, and your laid back enthusiasm.
Cheers to new memories and celebrating love,
Jenn
