I’ve got your attention, now, haven’t I?
Dear friend, welcome to the first styled shoot I had the pleasure of designing from beginning to end!
This shoot was inspired by and hosted in an industrial, loft-style venue, with exposed brick, garage doors, and high ceilings. The geometric and brass features were included as a way to hearken back to midcentury modern style, while ample flowers and greenery were included to provide a modern romantic, yet ethereal flair. The bold purples stand out while still allowing the timelessness of the aesthetics to speak for itself.
…Okay, that was the fancy way of saying this styled shoot was what dreams are made of! This photo shoot took place at Soho South Cafe in Savannah, GA with the help of some incredible vendors. I drew inspiration in large part from midcentury modern style (think Mad Men), while still coming through with my obsession with florals and greenery.
I was quite hesitant of doing a shoot indoors, but Soho South Cafe has stunning windows that let in enjoy glowing light to make my vision become reality.
I called upon The Topiary Cake Design for the cake, and I certainly was not disappointed! Calley’s phenomenal talent always leaves me speechless.
I have Ivory & Beau to thank for both the gorgeous flora and the stunning dresses. Which of the two dresses is your fave? Personally, I’m #teamcoldshoulder here.
A styled shoot in beautiful, historic Savannah wouldn’t be complete without some time spent in one of its squares. Thankfully, we were only about a block away from Chippewa Square.
Last but not least, check out this shoutout from Southern Celebrations Magazine!
Cheers to the weekend, loves.
