Specifically, the Merrimon Wynne House has had particular attention paid to making sure the interior of the home is bright white. So, not only are all the historic architectural features on full display, but it truly is a photographer’s dream to photograph. It’s similar to McAlister Leftwich House, but the Merrimon Wynne House has a few more perks. Plus, it has a longer history as a wedding venue. 

As a wedding venue, it has a lot of options and flexibility for couples who are looking to have their weddings here.

The Basics

The Merrimon Wynne House can fit a maximum of 200 guests. The starting price is $9000 and includes so many different options. 

The Merrimon Wynne House Grooms Suite 

It has an amazing inside space with a groom’s suite that comes complete with a stocked minifridge, a foosball table, a great mirror and lots of space for the guys to get ready. It’s an area that is spacious, full of bright light and very comfortable for the guys.

The Merrimon Wynne House Bridal Suite

The bridal suite is even bigger than the groom’s suite! It has a big window and is something that is really memorable. It has plenty of natural light, windows and more than enough space for a bride and her bridesmaids to all get ready.

Inside Amenities

The home itself has a lot of space downstairs that is perfect for cocktail hour. It’s spacious enough for a couple bars and several cocktail tables so guests can be comfortable and can mingle while waiting on the bride and groom post ceremony.

Outside Amenities

Merrimon-Wynne also features the porch, which is the quintessential Merrimon-Wynne House photo spot. It is a beautiful area where many couples like to do their first looks and portraits.

Additionally, there’s an expansive lawn where outdoor ceremonies or dining is an option. And, there’s a carriage house used for indoor ceremonies, or maybe even a rain plan. If you’re in need of a reception area, the carriage house works for this as well, as it has a stage for live music.
