Blandwood Carriage House | Greensboro, NC Wedding Venue
Blandwood Carriage House is a new favorite of mine! It’s an older venue with a lot of history, but it just was redone on the inside. It has beautiful, Italianate architecture with ample window light. The Holt House | Lexington, NC Wedding Venue
Not quite one of the Greensboro, NC wedding venues I promised as it’s down the road in Lexington, but another local period-specific home converted recently into a venue, The Holt House is steeped in rich history and hospitality. It is perfect for intimate indoor ceremonies and elaborate outdoor ceremonies. No matter what vision you have for your wedding, this venue can surely accommodate. Listed on the North Carolina Historical Register as the Carolina Cadillac Co. Building, Cadillac Service Garage was reborn in 2017 as downtown Greensboro’s premiere wedding and event venue. This venue incredibly unique. Who knew an old service garage could be so beautiful! The exposed brick walls, handcrafted light fixtures, reclaimed wood, original factory windows, huge skylights, concrete and steel came together to create a venue with an urban renewal vibe that lends character, history and just the right amount of attitude to each event. Plus, the Terrace Courtyard is a perfect option for your outdoor ceremony or party!
Elm and Bain Venue | Industrial, Downtown Greensboro, NC Wedding Venue
Elm and Bain is a wedding venue brand new to downtown Greensboro, NC. It’s got an industrial feel, and offers tons of wonderful window light and a giant blank slate to design your wedding within! They just opened up for 2021 reservations, which we all know are limited. Check them out!

Thanks so much for sharing this! We wanted to do our daughter’s wedding in our own backyard, but getting it ready has proven way too difficult. We have about 6 weeks and we are still in the demolition phase with a big old dumpster sitting on our drive way haha Definitely going to have t to try and find a last minute venue.
