7 Bright White Wedding Venues In Greensboro And Beyond

For quite some time, couples have come to prefer bright white wedding venues in Greensboro and throughout the Triad, with light filled interiors and plenty of window space. Because so many couples have begun planning with the help of Instagram and Google, it’s become common knowledge that a white wedding venue is one of the most beneficial things for clean, crisp, and beautiful wedding photography. It really helps create that timeless look. And it really is a blank canvas that allows the couple to reimagine the space however they want it to look in order to best suit the desired design they have for their wedding vision! Here are some of my favorite recommendations to make if you’re looking for a bright white wedding venue

1. McAlister-Leftwich House

Anyone who’s been around my website or me anytime recently knows the McAlister-Leftwich House is my favorite of all the bright wedding venues in Greensboro. It features plenty of window light, bright interiors and plenty of opportunity to customize the space to best suit whatever a person wants for their wedding. I love that it has historic charm and brings about thoughts of hospitality, legacy, and heirlooms – something that many brides have also come to value for their wedding photos as well!

2. Blandwood Carriage House 

The Blandwood Carriage House is a similar option to the McAlister-Leftwich House, but with Italianate architecture. This beauty is one of the bright wedding venues in Greensboro that appeals to couples for its incredible history. Its interior also features clean, white spaces so it can truly be customized to fit the desires of any couple getting married there. It’s a great option when looking for a white venue for your wedding and I really enjoy shooting there!

3. Reynolda Barn

This wedding venue is located in Winston-Salem, and I’ve shot here several times. Reynolda Barn has been transformed into a beautiful bright white venue while still showcasing its historic architecture features. And, it also is adjacent to the Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens. These are open for wedding couples to take their photos in if they so desire!

4. Holt House 

Another gorgeous historic venue is Holt House in Lexington. It’s a home that has been converted into a wedding venue and has bright interiors with lots of light. It has plenty of options for ceremonies, receptions, getting ready and other needs! They have tailored the home to be everything a couple could ever want on their wedding day.

5. Board and Batten

The Board and Batten is a refined, modern industrial venue in Lexington which has plenty of window space as is the trend and as is required for a great bright white wedding venue! There’s also plenty of  floor space which can be beautifully transformed for a large or a smaller wedding upon demand.

6. Carolina Grove 

Carolina Grove in Hillsborough is a newer venue. It has a lot of space and light as well as indoor and outdoor options. Plus, this location will appeal to any bride who not only wants a white venue but also wants a sophisticated yet modern and refined look!

7. Oaks at Salem

This white wedding venue has plenty of getting ready space inside the home and there are several options for ceremonies. One of the most unique attributes of Oaks at Salem in Apex is that it has a permanent white tent! Then once the ceremony is over, guests can move into the tent space for the reception which has that bright and airy feel. It provides lots of space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour or to explore the grounds.
