Putting together fine art wedding photography styled shoots is one of my passions. And this styled shoot is no different. I love getting the opportunity to work with several of my friends and fellow vendors in the industry to help bring some of our dream wedding looks to life! The photos in this styled shoot is from just one segment of a three-part day. Each segment suited Amanda K Events, Megan of Grace & Greenery, or myself! And of course each part was very different in its look and feel. As you might have guessed, the photos here are my design!
The vision behind this fine art wedding photography shoot
When Amanda, Megan and I get together, we can get in over our heads. And we love it! We collaborated on this amazing styled shoot, and it became the biggest one we’ve ever made. Because this section was mine, I wanted something earthy and organic, but refined and modern. I wanted it to resonate with a bride who wanted a wedding that was more muted and laid back, but still luxurious and beautiful. And I think I achieved that with this design! I love getting to create a fine art wedding, but getting to be the photography service for them is even more amazing. If these designs speak to you in a way that you could see this being your wedding, I hope that I not only inspire you, but can capture that timeless moment for you!
The team
Megan, Amanda and the vendors for this styled shoot are amazing people to work with! One of my favorite details we incorporated were the hand engraved plates from Maiden September, which were used as seating arrangements and seating charts. This was really clever and a neat touch, because not only can you arrange your seating with the plates, they also double as party favors!
The Blandwood Carriage House is a beautiful location with an amazing manager. Amanda, one of the planners for this styled shoot, just recently helped remodel the house. So, this was a great opportunity to show the updates. And, we got to use it as a blank canvas for this event!
We also got to work with Kaitlyn with Kaitlyn Elizabeth Styling that day. She is our favorite hair and makeup artist, and is always ready to participate in our styled shoots! She’s a huge asset to our adventures and always super gracious.
Lastly, our model, Piper, stunned in a gown from The Magnolia Bride. The Magnolia Bride is a wedding dress boutique outside Greensboro. It’s always a pleasure working with them because they have gorgeous gowns from many wonderful designers.
I loved getting to work with all of our vendors for this fine art wedding styled shoot, and providing the photography services for this group is so fun and fulfilling! Scroll on to enjoy a truly stunning setup!

[…] Blandwood Carriage House is a new favorite of mine! It’s an older venue with a lot of history, but it just was redone on the inside. It has beautiful, Italianate architecture with ample window light. Conveniently located downtown, this is a wedding venue that is about to become extremely popular! Want to see more?
